Aditya Agarwal, PokerStars Pro to Establish Poker as a Professional Sport

Aditya finished his schooling in Darjeeling, India. He moved to the US to pursue Engineering Degree at Drexel University. It was then when Aditya and his friends came across the popularity of the Poker game. By the time Aditya graduated, he was already a full-time poker pro.
Since then, Aditya had great success online and has cashed more than four million dollars in the biggest PokerStars tournaments. He once won a notoriously tough poker game worth $100 Rebuy tourney. He has also participated in live poker tournaments, and has cashed in the World Series Main Event several times, including top 100 finishes in 2008 and 2015.
He won a deep run at EPT Barcelona in 2007 for $34,313. Having played online at PokerStars since 2004, he claims it to be the pinnacle of his career so far. He believes that promoting poker among youth as a professional game would definitely yield some great result.
