Free Health Check-up Camp for SDMC Cleaning Staff

New Delhi:With an aim to make every individual healthy and fit, a Free Health Check-up Camp for for South Delhi Municipal corporation's employees (Cleaning Staff) was organized by Safdarjung Councilor Radhika Abrol and Lifeline Laboratory.  The free medial camp witnessed a large participation of women. 
The health check-up camp was  held at the primises of Lifeline Laboratory, Green Park.  The free health checkup which included complete Blood test, fasting sugar, cholesterol, Uric Acid, Creatinine, SGPT, HBA1C and Pap smear. This list of tests covers the complete systems of the body including the liver functions and the kidney functions.  Laboratory also tests the ht/wt/BMI and Blood Pressure of the attendees.
A team of doctors rendered their expert services in this medical checkup camp under the guidance of Dr. Angeli Misra, Co-Founder Lifeline Laboratory. Team which included Physicians & Physiotherapist gave general advice on the back pain and cervical pain and also emphasized on the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle as a preventive care. The employees were also given health awareness session conducted by the doctors with regards to lifestyle diseases, timely diagnosis and preventive measures to be adopted for a healthy life.
Mrs. Radhika Abrol, Councilor Safdarjung was also present at the health camp and appreciated the doctors in this endeavor. She said “we extend our thanks to the organization for their immense support and enthusiasm in making this medical camp a success. The aim behind organizing such activities is to encourage our staff to remain healthy and fit.  The nature of their job is such that they work round the clock so it is important for them to keep a track of their health. So, we aim to conduct such health check-up camps regularly”.
