Delhi Advocates Sports Association (DASA) recently hosted an inauguration ceremony of India Lawyer Cricket Association T20 Cricket Tournament at Sandal Suites Noida. Renowned Advocate, Criminal Psychologist and Founder Lady Executive Board Member of DASA hosted the entire event graciously.

Mr. Rajesh Mishra President of DASA along with Chief Guest Honourable Justice Siddharth Mridul graced the occasion and unvailed the Trophies and declared the Tournament Open. Apart from Justice Siddharth Mridul, Justice Najmi Waziri, Justice Chandra Shekhar, Justice Anup Jairam Bhambhanim also graced the event and appreciated the cause of organising this type of tournament. The event was organised in order to bring the lawyer community together and closer to each other. The tournament will start from December 22 and will be continued till December 28, 2019. Lawyers from all over India will participate in the game and there will 12 teams who will participate in the tournament. Teams will play and get a chance to compete against each other.

Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Anuja Kapur supported the event by saying, that these types of events should be organised to bring the advocates fraternity close to each other. In the daily life of Advocates we work tirelessly and mental pressure is very much there so to release this kind of pressure which we feel in our daily routine these type of events come as a stress buster for all the fellow advocates and everyone gets the chance to know each other from around the country in a cricket field. The game should be played with a true sportsmanship and with the real passion. So I also thank President Mishra for organising this wonderful tournament.”

In words of Mr. Rajesh Mishra, President, DASA, “To organise this event we want advocates to enjoy the game of cricket with true spirit irrespective of the pressure they take in their daily court life. I hope everyone will enjoy the tournament as much as they can and would love to make it bigger in next edition”
