Delhi, August 2025: At just 22 years old, Paridhi Gupta —better known as NoobPari—is carving a remarkable path in the Indian BGMI (Battlegrounds Mobile India) esports scene . Hailing from Delhi , she’s not only a skilled competitor but also an inspiring figure for women in gaming, boasting over 41,000 followers on Instagram and 75,000 subscribers on YouTube.
NoobPari’s gaming journey began early. A lifelong console gamer since the age of nine, she was introduced to BGMI by her brother the day the game launched on June 17, 2021. From her very first match, she was hooked by the thrill of competition, high finishes, and the drive to win. Since then, she has maintained a rigorous daily schedule, playing scrims with her team in the afternoons, practicing in intense game modes in the evenings, and live streaming her matches on YouTube at night to engage and grow her fanbase.
Initially, her family was hesitant about her pursuing gaming as a career. Like many parents, they were concerned about long screen hours, uncertain opportunities, and her future prospects. However, as Paridhi balanced her education with her growing passion, her parents gradually began to see her determination and discipline. Over time, they became her biggest supporters, encouraging her to give her all to gaming.
Her father often motivated her to stay consistent in practice while reminding her of the importance of education, and her mother became an emotional anchor, cheering her on during tournaments and proudly sharing her achievements with relatives. “Once my parents understood how serious I was about making a career in esports, they stood right beside me,” Paridhi says.
The turning point in NoobPari’s career came when she was selected as the only female gamer from the entire country to join BGMI’s Rising Star program. “It felt unreal to be the only girl chosen nationwide,” she says. “All the hard work had paid off, and it motivated me to grind harder and be creative in content creation to represent girls in esports.” Krafton, BGMI’s developer, has been a strong supporter, providing her with premium PC peripherals, promoting her gameplay on official social media pages, and organizing sessions to enhance her soft skills.
NoobPari is a key part of the all-girls team Takz Rebels, alongside Rimi, Coco, Scarlet and Lucy. “Joining the girls’ competitive scene was about seizing new opportunities, ” she explains. “Although we didn’t qualify for the LAN this time, the experience was invaluable, and I’m confident more opportunities will come.”
Beyond competing, NoobPari owns Team Cosmic, a mixed lineup that has made deep runs in tournaments like BMPS 2024 and BGIS 2025. Her dual role as a player and team owner highlights her leadership in the esports community.
Looking ahead, NoobPari’s goal is clear: to take her skill and passion to official BGMI LAN events and continue breaking barriers for women in esports. Her journey is a powerful story of determination, talent, and girl power lighting up Indian gaming.
